Integrity – Growth – Helping Others

We live in a world full of ambitious, over-reaching, bio statements. I always feel uncomfortable being asked for mine. Always wonder what to include, what to leave out and what might be of interest.

Professionally, I’ve been a teacher, headteacher and built The Leaders Team at Twinkl. I’m now working with the leader’s content team at The Key for School Leaders. I also enjoy being an active part of the education community, contributing in a variety of ways. I’m also co-chair of governors at Woodlands Primary School in Sheffield.

In my spare time, I’m a dad to two teenage girls. I live in Sheffield, on the edge of the Peak District. I enjoy walking in the hills making the most of fresh air and space. I’m a lifelong cyclist, racing road, track and time trial. I also enjoy the audax (distance) scene. I organise and help with a range of events and have been involved in coaching.
